Managers are agents of their organization, and the organization is accountable for how agents treat customers, employees, prospective employees, vendors, and everybody else. This course helps managers and supervisors create a respectful, responsible workplace that protects people’s rights and resolves and prevents sensitive issues.
Course Objectives

- Define the Law of Agency and explain the legal liability organizations face based on the action—or lack of action—of their managers.
- Determine how to apply federal EEO requirements to avoid workplace discrimination.
- Determine how to deal with sexual harassment, workplace violence, and other situations that create a hostile work environment.
- Determine the importance of integrity in the workplace and how to prevent and resolve ethical violations.
