Level 3: Lead Teams
Championing Change (to deal with our certain uncertainties)
- Length: full day
- Audience: supervisors, managers, and prospective managers
The course examines how leaders act as change agents to help people achieve big and small improvements at work. It is most appropriate for managers, but may be relevant to any employees who need to be effective agents for change in the organization.
Conflict Management (to move from confrontation to innovation)
- Length: half day
- Audience: supervisors, managers, and prospective managers
Workplace conflict is natural and — handled the right way — essential for moving an organization forward. The course examines how managers turn destructive conflicts into constructive sources of innovation.
Effective Meetings (to surprise people with real results)
- Length: half day
- Audience: supervisors, managers, and prospective managers (or any employee who regularly participates in meetings)
Managers can spend half their work hours or more in meetings. Even so, many meetings, or significant portions of them, may be viewed as unproductive and a waste of time. In this course, we determine how to get the most from your meetings, both as a meeting leader and participant.
Team Building (to bring people together)
- Length: half day
- Audience: supervisors, managers, and prospective managers
The ability to build teams is one of the most underdeveloped skills in management and on teams. Is teamwork and teambuilding worth the aggravation? The truth is: the ability to build a team environment is not only important; it’s essential in all workplaces. The course prepares team leaders, or team members, to create strong relationships and innovative results by bringing people together.
