We are proud to announce that Lisa LeVerrier, a partner at 4th Street Training, was recently appointed President-Elect of the Fort Lauderdale chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) for 2008. Under her leadership, Lisa is bringing a mentorship program to the chapter that is free for all members. Members can decide if they want to be a protégé or a mentor, and will be matched, according to their goals and preferences, through a rigorous matching process. 4th Street Training Receives WBENC Certification

The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) recently certified 4th Street Training as a business that is owned, managed and controlled by a woman or women majority. This certification is one of the most widely recognized and respected in the nation, and it includes a rigorous and stringent approval process.
The WBENC is the nation’s leading third party certifier of women’s business enterprises for the private sector. In partnership with women’s business organizations throughout the U.S., WBENC provides access to a national standard of certification and provides information on certified women’s businesses to purchasing managers through its Internet database. WBENC certification is recognized and accepted by the majority of major corporations across the U.S. and has become an increasingly important criterion for vendor partners as organizations begin to track diversity spend in their supply chain.
