The course is designed to help managers influence the success of their employees by closely guiding their job performance and professional development. Coaching is emphasized in Phase 3 of the Performance Improvement Path in which managers hold formal and informal coaching conversations throughout the year to achieve employees’ performance improvement goals identified at the beginning of the year.
Interviewing & Selection (to hire the best candidate for the job)
- Audience: any employee who participates in the hiring process
Hiring employees — who will contribute to an organization for years to come, possibly — is one of the most important and challenging responsibilities managers have. This course is designed to provide hiring managers with the tools and training they need to effectively interview and assess the relevant qualifications of job candidates, adhering to legal guidelines.
Performance Management (to partner along the path)
- Audience: supervisors, managers, and prospective managers
Our key goal as managers is to ensure employees meet and exceed performance expectations every day. To do this, we must be constant performance partners with each of our team members.
